  • Your first AT&T bill may be higher than your normal monthly bill. This is common and usually happens because the first bill can include more than just one month of service.

    Your first bill may include:

    • Activation or setup fees (This is waived by Aurum Wireless, but may still show up on the first bill then be credited back)

    • Equipment charges

    • Device installment payments

    • Taxes, surcharges, and required fees

    • Your first full month of service billed in advance

    • Partial-month charges if your service started in the middle of a billing cycle

After the first bill, your monthly bill is usually more consistent unless you make changes to your plan, add lines, upgrade devices, or add services.

Taxes and fees vary by location and are required by law. Any eligible discounts should apply to qualifying monthly charges.

For the most accurate billing details, customers can review their AT&T account online or through the myAT&T app.
